Ideal Reader

When i write my first draft i envision Ms. Perry reading it. I know that if my essay is not good enough i will get a bad grade and she will criticize all of the work I put effort into making. When i try to put a sentence together i think of all of the ideas that i can come up with and try to see which one best fits the topic I'm writing about. If Ms. Perry gets a laugh or understands what the sentence was made for. The topics can sometimes be tough and not easy to understand but i try my best to help the reader portray what it is that i am saying. If Ms. Perry likes it then its good enough for me.

The Relentless Search for Zora Neale Hurston

Walker and her companion Charlotte were sending each other letters talking about the different finding that they had found dealing with Zora. They went on a search a worked together to piece together information pertaining to Zora. Walker pretends to be Zora's niece in order to gain information from the lady at the funeral home. The lady points her n the direction of where she believes Hurston is buried. They go searching though what seems like a wilderness covered in weeds and flowers and eventually Walker falls into a sink hole which they believe is to be Hurston's grave. They then go and buy her a tombstone and get her name engraved on it and leave to go talk to a friend of Zora's who tells her how she died and where she lived.  After they go and see where they live walker talks about her life and how it pained her to look at such an amazing persons grave and not understand how someone could let it be in such a barren wasteland with no one there to help keep it in decent shape.

The unkowing life of a teenager

There are years for questions and years for answers. The years for Janie have imposed on her childhood. She had to grow up fast and learn even faster. Nanny spoiled her too much and now in her teens as she is married to Logan she doesn't know how to do most of the stuff that he wants her to do. The next few years are going to be tough for Janie. She is still very young and is very inexperienced and is not very familiar with the outside world.  Her dream of being happy and in a loving marriage is now crushed and she has no idea what lies ahead of her as she decides to run away with Mr. Stark  In the next few years of her life it is still going to be all about questions. Shes not going to understand any of it until she grows up and looks back on all the mistakes she has made throughout her life.

Finding Ones Voice

In most situations many people find it difficult to find their voice because they are afraid of what the people around them might think or react when they say it. People always have different opinions on different subjects around school or mainly just about anything in general. When people try to talk they may be to shy to speak out loud and never say what they have wanted to the entire time.  A decision that someone is going to make and one of his or her friends may want to say something about it or that they are to afraid to admit it. If they were to speak out and tell them that it was a bad decision it could have helped change their lives and help them make a better choice with their lives. Friend are a necessity it live. Without them you will not know what would be wrong and what would be right. Your best friends will tell you their opinion and let you know what if you are doing is right or wrong. But besides that some people will never speak up because they are to shy or too weak to tell you their opinion. So in life it is necessary to find ones voice so that you can tell people how you feel and what you think about certain subjects.

To expose One's emotions

I have feigned sleep,
preoccupation, or a hostile levity
when I realized by some
unmistakable sign that an intimate revelation
was quivering on the horizon
for the intimate revelations of young men,
or at least the terms in which they express them
are usually plagiaristic and marred by obvious suppressions
Reserving judgments is a matter of infinite hope
I am still a little afraid of missing something if I forget that
as my father snobbishly suggested
and I snobbishly repeat
a sense of the fundamental decencies
is parcelled out unequally at birth. (page 1)

Does money talk?

I would not marry for money because there would not be an actual relationship involved. If a woman walked up to me and asked me to marry her and the very first thing she told me she was rich I would automatically just ignore her and walk away. The only reason i would marry someone for money is if I knew her for a long time and we started a relationship. Besides that I would not give in to the temptation of money.

Some people would marry for the money just because they are in dire need of money. But in the end it would not work out because they have never developed any sort of feelings for each other. They are only interested in the money. Money can corrupt ones mind and mess with your thoughts. It creates a gap in your mind and it posses you like a drug. So if money is all you really want in a relationship then what's the point of marriage? Marriage is supposed to be to the love of your life. Not to someone who can try and make you happy because they can spend all their money on you. Love and happiness is more important to me then any amount of money in the world and I will stand by that until I die.

Deceptive apperances

Appearances are definitely deceptive in most people. They will try to dress up or act like a normal kind hearted person but underneath their "act" they have horrible personalities and are really mean to people. I've seen a couple people do that. For instance at school there are soooooooo many fake people its ridiculous. They try to get close to you and be your friend just so it will make them look better but in the end you can't trust them and they will stab you in the back. They want their appearance to look good so they will be someone everyone will like. We are concerned  about our appearances because we don't want to seem ugly to anyone else and we want to be loved by everybody. The girls and guys both care about their social status in high school and above. They don't want to be that one person that people always had something to say about or remembered just for their stupidity or snide remarks. My values are not empty. I value my friends and family more than anything else in the world. I would do anything for my family or my friends no matter what the cost would be. But people tend to take advantage of that trait in people. Some people get with their significant others just to have a lot of money or have a high social standing. They depend on them to buy what they want when they want it or they just like to boast about how awesome they are because their significant other made them that way. In my opinion money doesn't matter all that counts is the personality of the person. As long as they are not a mean person and know how to have fun I'm perfectly happy with that.
